When the devastating floods swept across Sri Lanka at the end of 2025, many of our colleagues at IPD Sri Lanka (Colombo) were directly affected. Homes were damaged, essentials were lost, and daily life was suddenly filled with uncertainty. As their IPD Group Australian colleagues learned of the situation, the response was immediate, heartfelt, and overwhelmingly generous.
In true IPD Group spirit, our Sri Lankan and Australian teams came together to provide meaningful support during this challenging time. Through internal fundraising initiatives and company support, we collectively raised $9,769.60 AUD ( LKR 2,051,615.60) to assist our Sri Lankan colleagues as they rebuild and recover. In addition, we ensured we offered flexible working arrangements to those directly impacted by the floods to support them during this time.
This response was more than financial support; it reflected who we are as a company.
“One of the advantages of being a people-focused company is being able to support our employees in need. It was heart-warming to see our AU family get behind our IPD Sri Lankan family and support them during a very difficult time.
Our thoughts are with our IPD Sri Lanka team as they continue to navigate the aftermath of the floods in Sri Lanka, and IPD Group continues to be committed to a people-first approach and will always support our employees in need both in Sri Lanka and Australia.”
– Michael Sainsbury, CEO – IPD Group.

“The entire IPD Sri Lanka team wish to share our heartfelt gratitude to our Australian colleagues for their generosity shown during the adverse flood situation in Sri Lanka. Your generosity has brought meaningful support to our Sri Lanka team members and Sri Lankan communities affected by the floods.”
