What is Personal Information?

What Personal Information Do We Collect and Hold?

We collect information about you and your interactions with us, for example, when you purchase any of our products, call us, interact with us on social media platforms we use (this may include social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) or otherwise visit our website. If you interact with us via a social media platform you agree to allow us to receive information about you from the social media platform, which may include your Personal Information (if you directly communicate with us via the social media platform), information about your visits and interaction with our website.

  • External Legal Counsel
  • ICT and Cyber Security Service providers and Subcontractors

Personal Information to Overseas Recipients?

We may disclose your Personal Information to recipients who are located outside Australia. Those recipients are likely to be our staff in Sri Lanka and the Philippines.

Do We Use Your Personal Information for Marketing?

We will use your Personal Information to offer you products we believe may interest you, but we will not do so if you tell us not to. These products may be offered by us, our related companies, our other business partners, or our service providers.

Please understand there are some circumstances in which we are not required to give you access to your Personal Information, but we will advise you if these circumstances apply to your request. There is no charge for requesting access to your Personal Information, but we may require you to meet our reasonable costs in providing you with access (such as photocopying costs or costs for time spent on collating large amounts of material).

We will respond to your requests to access or correct Personal Information in a reasonable time and will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information we hold about you remains accurate, up-to-date, and correct. However, if you have a client portal you can also access and correct some of the Personal Information that we hold about you.

Under the European Union (EU) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as a data subject (if you are a citizen or resident of the EU) you have the right to:

  • Access your data.
  • Have your data deleted or corrected where it is inaccurate.
  • Object to your data being processed and to restrict processing.

  • Have your data provided in a standard format so that it can be transferred elsewhere.
  • Not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.
